I have an integration task to do. This first step is basically to copy all new rows from a table in one database to a similar table in another database
( how to do that).
I have a reader in my dataflow that pulls out the rows I want ( how to do that in dataflow). Then I use a OLEDB destination to write the data to the correct table.
However, when a write is successful, I need to set a statusflag in my originating table row ( how). I also need to log any errors that occur.

What is the best way to do this data flow implement and write the status when it is successful?

please respond ( if possible) with illustration in the dataflow task

thanks
