Hello:

I have some questions about inet drivers (driver in inetdae6 0r 7 driver in UNA2000.jar for example).
1. Do these drivers need to updated for SqlServer2005? For example, is the MERLIA jar necessary for 2005 and named instances?
2. Can drivers used with 2000 (sucn as the TdsDriver in UNA2000.jar) be used with SqlServer 2005 and named instances?
3. If the answer to #2 is no, can this driver be used with 2005 and no named instances?
4. Also, tried the JTDS driver from SourceForge (Driver.java in jtds-1.0.2.jar). Seems to work, but is the latest JTDS driver, such as that in jtds-1.2.2.jar necessary?

My company wants to know due to cost obviously, at least for the inet drivers. Thanks in advance.

Whoa - I've never even heard of UNA2000.jar or MERLIA. Are those JDBC drivers? I'm sorry but I'm not really knowledgeable about java w/ SQL Server Frown
