Hi All
I came across the following line in a procedure:
Select ........... from ........ where some_field_name = '##tblname'
Plz neglect the ..... part.What I want to ask is what is ## before tblname ?

Well, in the code sample you posted, it would simply be the name of a column. In that example, the ## is meaningless; it's just whatever someone named the column.
However, your code does not look correct. That is usually a global temporary table indicator
